In light of the 4 weeks left in the signature gathering for the proposed Ohio Constitutional Amendment for Reproductive Freedom with Protections for Health and Safety, AND the Ohio legislature’s recent decision to hold an August vote on raising the threshold in multiple ways for citizens to bring a constitutional amendment before Ohio voters (just 6 months after they voted to refrain from holding August elections due to the $20 million cost and poor turnout), please join UUs Together virtually on Monday May 22 from 7-8:30pm for an update on the topic of Reproductive Justice and democracy in Ohio. Our speaker will be Destinee Burse, field organizer for Protect Choice Ohio. This will conclude the “Congregational Year” of UUs Together 22-23 meetings. We will resume next year, and may plan an in person gathering this summer. Stay tuned!
