UUs Together will host “What is Our Connection to the Crisis in Israel/Palestine?” on Zoom to discuss the current conflict between Israel and Hamas with Israelis and Palestinians caught in the middle. Two UUs from local congregations will address the topic. Don Bryant and Mark Weber, current and past presidents of Cleveland Peace Action, respectively will speak on the topic and their travels to the region. Mark is active with Jewish Voice for Peace Cleveland. Don is a volunteer with the Council on American Islamic Relations Cleveland. Mark and Don have independently addressed forums on anti-Jewish bigotry and Islamophobia, two forms of antisemitism. Please join us for this timely topic that affects us all.
