Keep America Beautiful, the national Great American Cleanup initiative, has selected Keep Ohio Beautiful’s State Roadway Cleanup in Cleveland to showcase as one of their seven nationwide locations for the National Day of Action on Saturday, April 6.  SWUU’s Adopt-a-Highway team will participate at our regular location, the north and southbound ramps at the I-71/Pearl Rd. interchange.  We’ll meet at 9:00 at the parking lot of the Islander Apartments on Pearl  Rd near Sunnyside Honda and be finished about 10:15.

A very brief, five to ten minute, safety training is required and can be done before or after church.  I’ll be there Sunday and will have with me the Safety Training guidelines, the last of which is “Leave any road-kill where you find it.”  Just in case that was deterring you.
